Signet Library, Edinburgh
A complex removal, cutting, painting and restoration, done inside four days.
Date completed : 4 November 2014 Duration : 4 Weeks
At very short notice I was asked to quickly repair a damaged window prior to an important event in this truly remarkable Library in the center of Edinburgh.
I had to carefully remove the damaged section from situ, re-create a new piece, and install it with a four-day turn around timescale.
The large piece of glass needed to be carefully cut, and painted with precise, complex scroll-like filigree, to match the original fragments.
