Built in 1762 this 10 storey octagonal structure nearly 50m high is adorned at its pinnacle with a suspended wrought iron and bronze hoop and chain assembly which supports the iconic terminal pole.

ICR were initially engaged to carry out a front-end condition survey consultancy of the terminal pole decorative iron and bronze work and to author a conservation repair method statement, technical specification and bill of quantities

Through competitive tender ICR were awarded the comprehensive conservation repair contract
