Reattachment of flaking paint to 1950’s portrait
A treasured family portrait was losing its paint, as a result of the artist using too little medium in the painting process.

The project involved the reattachment of flaking and incipiently flaking paint, and restoring areas of loss to match a very matte paint surface.
