About Me
I am an ICON accredited paintings conservator based in Cornwall. After completing an art degree at Chelsea School of Art, I studied paintings conservation at the Hamilton Kerr Institute, University of Cambridge, and completed my training with an internship at the Frans Hals Museum in The Netherlands. After 10 years working for a highly regarded private studio in London, I set up my own studio in Cornwall in 2007, working for museums, public collections and private owners. My practice carries out conservation work on canvas and panel paintings from the 16th century to the present day, with a focus on Cornish art, including Newlyn and St Ives school, modern British and contemporary works. I also undertake surveys of painting collections and exhibition work, including condition checking and the production of condition reports.
