About Me

I am an artefacts and objects conservator with over 30 years of experience. For the past 15 years my two colleagues and I have run a very successful independent conservation business near Edinburgh. The business, The Scottish Conservation Studio, treats textiles, artefacts and works on paper from institutions and private clients throughout and beyond Scotland. We also carry out surveys, deliver training, and give collection care advice.
