Bronwen Faulkner ACR
As an Accredited objects conservator who has been working in museums and heritage since 2004, I have a wide range skills and knowledge. I have worked on archaeological, social history and decorative arts collections, and I have in-depth knowledge of world cultures collections. I have experience of carrying out interventive conservation on a very wide range of materials. I have specialist knowledge of the conservation of organic materials. I am very experienced and knowledgeable in the storage of collections, including storage moves.
Bronwen conserved two Solomon Islands canoes for the new World Gallery, working in the conservation lab at the Horniman Museum & Gardens. She formulated treatments which included cleaning, removal of damaging repairs, re-joining of a large prow and consolidation of loose putty nut caulking. Bronwen is an excellent colleague to work with – conscientious, thorough and reliable – and we would be very pleased to employ her again.
