Gloria Conti ACR
About Me
I worked internationally as a Conservator for over 15 years, both in the public and the private sector. I graduated from the European School for Conservator-Restorers in Spoleto, Italy, in 2005 and started my career in Italy until I moved to the UK two years later. I have a degree in History and Preservation of Cultural Heritage from the University of Florence and I have been part of a team of conservators in a large institution since 2008.
With Charta Conservation I provide specialist preventive and interventive conservation services to archives, libraries, museums, other cultural institutions and private owners.
I am a member of IADA (International Association of Book & Paper Conservators), of Aicrab (Italian Association of Library and Archive Conservators and Curators) and I have been a Committee member of the Icon Book & Paper Group from 2020 to 2023.
I take pride in the care and attention to details I apply to my work, and take continuous professional development very seriously.
