| Description |
This practice covers all aspects of conservation and restoration of easel paintings of all sizes. Lining service includes specialist composition lining. We have extensive experience in treating 17th-20th century paintings by Scottish artists. |
| Charging
policy |
Hourly rate of £30.00 to £40.00 per hour (Prices in GBP).
Transport is charged for large items.
Additional charges are made to meet insurance requirements for items valued above £25,000. |

Treat to consolidate loose and flaking paint; clean to remove surface dirt; fill losses;
restore; varnish.
2. House in a Landscape, Denmark by Agnes Lunn, oil on canvas, 11 1/2" x 15 1/2"
Clean out debris from behind stretcher and treat woodworm; re-tension slack canvas; clean to remove surface dirt, discoloured varnish and overpaint; fill small losses; restore; varnish.
3. Yacht Egeria at Sea, Ryde by A W Fowles; oil on canvas, 20" x 30"
Clean to remove surface dirt and discoloured varnish; composition line to treat cracking and secure lifting paint; fill losses; restore; varnish.
4. Coastal Scene by Peter Graham; oil on canvas, 24" x 36"
Clean; composition line to support broken turning edge and to consolidate loose and flaking paint; fill losses; restore; varnish.
5. Portrait of a Gentleman in a Red Beret; oil on canvas, 43" x 32"
Clean; composition line to repair canvas damage and to consolidate unstable paint layer; fill; restore; varnish.
